Nomination Committee

Appear ASA has a Nomination Committee elected by the General Meeting. The Nomination Committee’s role is to represent the interests of the shareholders as a whole. Its responsibilities include proposing qualified candidates to the Annual General Meeting for election to the Board of Directors and the Nomination Committee, as well as proposing remuneration for the Board of Directors and the Nomination Committee.

The Nomination Committee consists of two members who are shareholders or representatives of shareholders: Erik Braathen, Chair and Svenn-Tore Larsen.

The deadline for submitting proposals to the Nomination Committee for the Annual General Meeting to be held on 12 May 2026 is 17 April 2026. Shareholders wishing to submit proposals are requested to send their contact details to legal@appear.net. The contact details will be forward to the Chair of the Nomination Committee.

Terje Rogne

Chairman of the Board

Terje Rogne, Chairman of Appear since May 2025, is a seasoned executive with more than three decades of board and leadership experience across technology, manufacturing, and security industries. He has previously chaired Ensurge Micropower ASA, Nokas AS, and Nordic Semiconductor ASA, where he played a central role in driving growth, innovation, and international expansion. With a strong track record in scaling operations, strengthening shareholder structures, and enhancing governance, Terje supports Appear’s vision of global leadership in live production technology.

Arne Græe

Board member

Arne Græe, co-founder and lead investor of Appear, served as Chairman from 2004 until May 2025 and continues as board member. He has held senior leadership roles including CEO of Tandberg Television and Chairman of Nordic Semiconductor, where he played a key role in driving global growth and innovation. As an active technology investor and experienced industry leader, Arne has been instrumental in positioning Appear as a global media technology leader and continues to support its long-term value creation strategy.

Brita Eilersten

Board member

Brita Eilertsen, board member since May 2025, has extensive experience from numerous board roles across both listed and unlisted companies, with particular expertise in audit committees. A former investment banker at Enskilda Securities and consultant at Touche Ross, she now serves on the boards of Pareto Bank ASA, Axactor ASA, and Klaveness Combination Carriers, among others.

Kenneth Ragnvaldsen

Board member

Kenneth Ragnvaldsen, board member, has more than 30 years of executive leadership in the global technology industry. As CEO of Data Respons, he led the company’s stock exchange listing and international growth, establishing it as a leader in digital R&D, IoT, and embedded solutions. Following its acquisition, he held senior roles at AKKA Technologies and Akkodis, leading North EMEA operations. Today, Kenneth focuses on investments and entrepreneurship in high-growth technology companies.

Anette Willumsen

Board member

Anette Willumsen, board member since May 2025, is an experienced board member with a strong background in financial services, manufacturing, and technology. She has held senior executive roles, including 12 years as Group Executive Director at Intrum AB, and has served on multiple boards such as WM-Data, Apptix, MeaWallet, and Isola AS.

Thomas Bostrøm Jørgensen
Chief Executive Officer

Thomas Bostrøm Jørgensen is Appear CEO since 2021. Thomas brings extensive industry expertise and a proven track record of driving growth, transformation, and innovation across global technology and media companies. With strong leadership experience in mediatech and cybersecurity, he is leading Appear’s ambition to become the global leader in live production technology.

Per-Øyvind Stene
Chief Financial Officer

Per Øyvind Stene brings more than two decades of financial leadership across listed companies, private enterprises, and professional services. He has held senior finance roles at Ringnes, Coop Norge, Nille, Findus, and DNO, and served as CFO of RSM Norge as well as Director at Deloitte before joining Appear in 2025.

Thomas Lind
Chief Product Officer

Thomas Lind is one of the founders and the Chief Product Officer of Appear. With over three decades of experience in telecommunications, he has led product strategy, technical sales, and support since the company’s inception in 2005. Thomas holds a Master of Science in Electronics from the University of Utah.

Alex Pannell
Chief Commercial Officer

Alex Pannell has been Chief Commercial Officer of Appear since 2022, bringing more than a decade of executive experience in driving strategic growth and profitability across broadcast, media, and smart utility sectors. He previously held senior leadership roles at BT and Arqiva, where he served on the Executive Committee as Executive Director for Broadcast and Utilities.

Andy Rayner
Chief Technology Officer

Andrew Rayner brings more than 35 years of experience in broadcast and media technology. He previously held senior roles at BT and Nevion, where he was awarded BT’s Martlesham Gold Medal and a technical Emmy for his contributions to industry standards. Holding several patents and active in leading standardization bodies, Andrew drives Appear’s technology vision and innovation in live production.

Svein Sylta
Supply Chain Director

Svein Sylta has served as Appear’s Supply Chain Director since 2008, bringing extensive experience in logistics and telecommunications. He began his career at Tandberg Television, where he was Logistics Manager from 1995 to 2008.

Chief Operating Officer

Daniella Grønne has over a decade of leadership experience in technology-driven environments and operational management. Before joining Appear as COO in 2024, she held senior roles at Nord Pool, including COO from 2019 to 2024, and co-founded Sigma AS

Simon Frost
Chief Marketing Officer

Simon Frost joined Appear in 2026 as Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for leading the company’s global brand, marketing strategy, and communications. With over 25 years of leadership experience across broadcast, telecommunications, and cloud, Simon has built and scaled high-performing organizations in complex, technology-driven markets. He previously drove hyper-growth at Amazon Web Services and led Global Marketing and Communications for Ericsson’s expansion into Media & Entertainment. Simon combines deep technical expertise with a relentless focus on customer value to drive market leadership and sustained growth.

Erik Braathen

Chair

Erik G. Braathen is a Norwegian investor and business leader with a long career in aviation and finance. He served as CEO of Braathens SAFE from 1989 to 1999 and later as Chairman of Norwegian Air Shuttle. In 2020, he founded Flyr, a Norwegian airline. Braathen has been active in real estate and investments across various industries. With deep roots in Norway’s business community, he is known for combining entrepreneurial drive with extensive leadership experience.

Svenn-Tore Larsen

Member

Svenn-Tore Larsen is a Norwegian business leader with extensive experience in the global semiconductor industry. He served as CEO of Nordic Semiconductor from 2002 to 2023, helping the company grow into a leading provider of wireless technology. He has also held senior roles at Philips Semiconductor and Xilinx, and today contributes his expertise as Chair of Elliptic Laboratories ASA and board member of several technology companies.
