Roberts Communications Network selected Appear’s X Platform to modernise its HEVC video encoding and satellite modulation infrastructure, enabling seamless connectivity between over 100 global sites and its Las Vegas headquarters.
Challenge
- Roberts Communications Network’s outdated AVC system at over 100 racetracks required an upgrade to support HEVC encoding, HD capability, satellite modulation/demodulation, and SRT IP delivery to backhaul feeds to their Las Vegas NOC, as its previous vendor no longer provided support.

- Over 100 systems are being deployed in remote trailers across more than 100 tracks.
